Each Shepherd’s Hut provides a spacious open-plan living and sleeping area for two, with a fully equipped kitchenette, en-suite shower room, king-size bed, sofa, breakfast bar and two Smarts TVs.
The Huts are fully insulated, with electric heating and a log burner which ensures they are toasty warm all year round.
Outside you’ll find a private area with a roll-top copper bath, fire pit BBQ and outdoor seating.
The Shepherd’s Huts are spaced out to provide additional privacy and to take advantage of the views of unspoiled countryside and the Pennines without being overlooked. Surrounded by wildflowers, nature and tranquility.
Nestled in between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Park, you aren’t far from more breathtaking views and outdoor activities.

Brackenslack Shepherd’s Huts are situated on our quiet, rural, family farm, only a 10-minute from the historic market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland, with its many traditional shops, tearooms, pubs and castle. We are conveniently located 20 minutes from the M6 and 10 minutes from the A66.
