What time is check in/out?
Check in will be from 4pm and check-out will be 10am.
Do you offer early check ins and late check outs?
Early check-in and late check-outs will NOT be available due to the turnaround of the Shepherd huts/ outside area & baths.
Can we pay extra for additional guests/ children?
Sorry, we only offer accommodation suitable for two adults max per hut. The design of the huts allows two adults to be comfortable, still allowing plenty of room.
Do your take group bookings?
Yes, we can take bookings for all 3 shepherd Huts by prior arrangement with ourselves, Brackenslack Shepherds Huts. Unfortunately, Stag and Hen Parties are NOT permitted.

Is there WIFI?
Yes, WI-FI is available on site.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, there is parking located at the entrance of the site which is a short walk from the Shepherds huts. Each Shepherd hut is allocated 1 car parking space.
Please contact us if you require further parking and we will try to accommodate this.
Can I smoke on site?
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in and around the Shepherd Huts for health and safety reasons. Anyone found to have been smoking will incur a cleaning charge and could be ask to leave-No refund will be given.
IMPORTANT: LPG Canisters are storage next to the shepherds Huts.
Do you allow pets/dogs?
Unfortunately, as a working farm, we do not allow dogs/pets on site, except guide Dogs.

Can I book for one night?
We have a two-night minimum stay policy, so we don’t offer one-night stays unless
One-night stays might become available as a special offer. This will be advertised on our social media pages.
Where are the nearest local shops/amenities?
We are a short 5 mile drive away from Appleby-in-Westmorland. The town has a large Co-op, alongside with takeaways, pubs, café’s, a chip shop, bakery, florist, a petrol forecourt and much more.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation made more than 28 days before the stay will be subject to 50% cancellation fee, equal to your non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
Any cancellation made within 28 days of the stay start date, will not be refunded.
